In 2007 Ben Johnson Ltd achieved 15% year on year growth in Sales. This was delivered during a year of organisational and people change at board level. All divisions showed growth including specific success in office supplies, office interiors projects, and print and document management software and consultancy.
Adrian Rumble, Managing Director says "This was a break through year, and our success is down to building a great team, growing business with loyal customers, and developing new business with our differentiated capabilities and expertise. I have to thank Chris Fordy of ActionCOACH who helped me make some breakthrough decisions. I also have to thank all our customers for their loyalty, many of whom have supported us with great testimonials and referrals".
The growth and success in Office Supplies has been led by David Riley, Director and Office Supplies specialist. David said "We have had to work exceptionally hard to retain and grow the Office Supplies business over the last few years. However, our customer care, account management and tenacity in winning new business has paid off because the last year has seen the most significant year on year growth that I have known in my 27 years with the company".
Grant Freeman, Director of Group Sales joined the business early in 2007 with responsibility for business development across all divisions, he commented "Adrian asked me to review, refocus and drive our sales and marketing activity to be best in class. This continues to be work in progress, but having an enviable portfolio of great customers and products and services is a great starting point. I am particularly excited by our success in being our customer's "project manager" when it comes to providing a new office working environment. Whether this is in creating new office interiors or the way print and document management is conducted, or the way we serve customers daily with consumables - we differentiate ourselves by our level of service, value added and by demonstrating a return on investment".
