Citywire tip Invu, provider of document management software to accountants and IFAs among others, has enjoyed further gains after reporting revenue growth of 52%, profits up 250% and new distribution deals taking it into the Far East.

Shares (NVUK) in the company, tipped by Citywire in June 2004 at 9.25p are up 0.25p at 27.25p.

Invu provides out of the box, affordable document management software for small and medium businesses. While its software is applicable to almost any business in any market sector, Invu has focused in on certain vertical markets, including financial services (where IFAs are a key focus), accountancy – the company has just been accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants, shipping, construction and schools.

For the year to 31 January, revenues grew to £4.8 million, an increase of 52%, and profits rose to £1.25 million from £610,000, although excluding some unrealised currency exchange gains last time, profits were up from £350,000. Earnings per share rose to 1.25p from 0.64p, or 1.24p from 0.37p on an adjusted basis.

Chief executive David Morgan told Citywire that Invu was 'delighted' that its operationally-geared model means that much of the gains fall to the bottom line.
